Benefits of Yoga

Apart from keeping the body flexible and muscles toned, yoga is nurturing and gentle. The soft flowing movements work alongside and with our own energy levels, by attuning and listening to our body’s individual needs.

What I like about yoga is that it is available to everyone. The movements, sequences and postures are designed to allow a sense of freedom within ourselves to explore our inner self. Like pieces of art, once the foundation work and skills have been learnt, then the pattern to create an individual style and rhythmic flow becomes second nature. It’s very beautiful.
